With the further development of the new 2012 1 Series Hatch, BMW today announced a series of modest update for the 1 Series coupe and convertible.

Already by the recently announced Top Shelf 1 Series M Coupe, get the “regular” coupe and convertible models updated lights, consider including a new LED strip on its front and a similar update to the rear.

Other exterior updates include new design 17 – and 18-inch alloy wheels, along with two new colors: Brown and Marrakech cinnabar.

The front bumper also comes in a modest update obtaining a new form of air intakes for air duct to the front wheel arches and the face of the wheels, reducing drag resistance.

The 135i gets a new rear differential, optimized for improved performance and fuel economy, along with a new rear spoiler for greater downforce at high speeds.

New interior features include a new leather-wrapped steering wheel with shift paddles and an M-branded version also features shift paddles.
